Healthy Eating on the Go Made Simple: An Introduction

Hello! I’m trying something different on the blog for the next few posts; I’m going to be doing a mini-series. I’ve had an idea for a number of handy posts on healthy eating for busy people for quite a while now so I thought I’d turn it into a mini-series and link them all together. The first post will be with you shortly but for now I thought I’d do a quick introduction on what you can expect from my upcoming posts.

Healthy eating can often seem overwhelming and extremely daunting. There are so many people and companies out there telling us what we should and shouldn’t eat, when we should eat it and how much of it we should eat.

When you add into the mix the pressures of working, trying to maintain a social life, keeping your home well maintained and everything else we have to contend with on a daily basis what we eat can often slip to the back of the list. It can be easy to opt for less healthy but seemingly more convenient options on the go but that doesn’t need to be the case!

Over the next few weeks I’m going to share some simple ideas for breakfast, lunch and snacks as well as some of my favourite cookbooks for even more recipe inspiration. I want to show you that eating well doesn’t have to mean spending hours in the kitchen every day nor does it have to mean boring, bland meals that you dread.

In the four posts which make up this mini-series I’ll be sharing some of my own go-to meals, as well as quick recipes (if you can count them as that they’re so quick!) on each post to get you started.

In the meantime, if you’re looking for more inspiration then check out my Instagram page @healthy_abs18 where I regularly post meal ideas and lots of other foodie content.
